... I am worked to the BONE. Literally. I'm tired, lethargic, and functioning on caffeine (not that it does a damn thing). Work is fast paced and busy-busy and to top it all off I've lost an hour's worth of sleep! That on top of apotment hunting.
I want to do stuff. I want to write stuff. I want to relay witty anecdotes here, oh do I have some witty ones stored away in my memory's bank. I want to go out and about during my downtime, but I can't bring myself to do so. I'm lazy. I've got stuff to share and I'm too lazy. I've got places to go, but once I retreat to the home front, my limbs turn wooden. I think about doing... but they don't move. I become a stone statue.
Spring is on the horizon and I sense slight lubrication in my winter-stiff joints. On a positive note, sleep isn't such an elusive idea anymore. For now anyway.
In any event, give me a few minutes or so. I'll be back... I just need to shake my lazy pelt off.
P.S. I stumbled upon some Absinthe, or Absente rather. ...

I'm glad to hear you're in a new job, even if it's leaving you with little leisure time and even less energy to enjoy it.
It seems this is the year for new jobs (our blogs are visited less frequently these days because most of the "regulars" have new jobs). I myself am in the process of interviewing for possibly a better job, more akin to what I'm used to doing. Hopefully much better financially, too.
Hope you get to catch some rest (and some warm weather) sometime soon, and start writing some witticisms real soon. Til then...

Amadeo, since I'm sleep drunk yet restless, a bit crunk off of Shiraz and am up anyway, I'll answer STAT... I found the Absinthe at a local wine shop. One lone bottle. And because I found it locally, I didn't have to pay out my ass for it. Also, the woman sold it to me with the Absinthe spoon (it's so cute)... so I'm fully prepared for the sugar cube method! First I need to buy some cubes though... soon as I get the 'tunity.
Absinthe is a helluvan elixir, B! ;)
